Always a hit at Festivals and Events, Sweet Circus are experts at providing circus play activities and beginner workshops that are really popular with the kids and adults alike. Packages can include a circus play arena, taster workshops, walkabout, ambient performance, full performance and our pop up shop.   

People return to events and festivals to see us, especially if they are trying to get to the top of our pindaloo leaderboard, or have mastered all the tricks they were learning last time and need some more input!

Bringing Sweet Circus to your festival provides excellent added value to your event. When your attendees engage with our services it is something they talk about afterwards, the experience becomes part of their festival memories and encourages them to re-book for next year.

Sweet Circus and Circus by the Sea also love to get out and about at community events.  As a Community Interest Company we are always keen to work with charities and community groups and will endeavour to provide discounted rates wherever we can.

This is really popular with families and children.  A team of friendly instructors and a van full of circus fun can provide drop in sessions throughout the day.  Children make new friends in our arena and adults either get stuck right in or have a bit of a break watching their children having fun and gaining confidence.

We can provide a range of structured workshops or taster sessions for your event including learn to juggle, or aerial hoop taster sessions dance and drama workshops are also available.

Once attendees have had a go at some circus skills they often want to purchase an item so that they can continue this activity after the festival/ event. We can bring a small selection of good quality circus toys which are available to purchase at the event.

Both ambient aerial performance and walkabout characters are available to enhance the mood and feel at your event.  Our mischievous walkabouts love to blow their kazoos, ride around on a minibike, tower above on stilts or dash about playing peg tag with your festival goers.  We can bring a portable aerial rig or you can provide your own tested rigging.  A number of performers are available with a choice of aerial hoop or trapeze.  A typical ambient session would be 3 or 4, 15 minuet sets per performer.  This can be repeated a couple of times a day.

Bespoke routines and performances are available and can be choreographed to your chosen music or themes.  A typical routine is 3 - 5 minutes per performer and can be a number of times in a day.  Contact us well in advance if you are hoping to include performances in your event so we can discuss your requirements and put together a pop up show just for you.

The cost of hiring us for your event is entirely dependent on the number of instructors and / or performers required and we always like to offer a bespoke service.  Get in touch and tell us more about your event so that we can design a package for you.

As a guide our core team can provide a package to include freeplay, workshops and walkabout and retail for approximately £250 a day.  Performances Start from £150.

Freeplay sessions can occasionally be provided locally through our charity Circus by the Sea, thanks to a small grant from the National Lottery.
